My Ancestors

My ancestors foods are still eaten today . One of the popular food in Ivory coast that we known for is "Attieke". Attieke is one of our popular food that's now eaten in almost everywhere (other continents of Africa). Today Attieke's eaten for like more than 3 or 4 times a day.

Attieke's popularity eaten with Garba (a sour fish that come from somewhere around Europe). In my country insted of saying "sour fish with Attieke",we say "Garba" Because, of the way its made.To be more specific it's: Attieke with fresh green pepper, oil on it,salt and sour fish aside. (yum)
Second food that my ancestors have eaten was plantain "Foufou" with hot peper soup. Foufou is plaitain dough mixed with red oil. It's eaten with different kind of sauce but i like it with hot peper sauce and with fish aside.

Another food that my ancestors have eaten and is still popular this day's "Aloco with fish" (fried plaitain) and "Plaitain chips" (fried hard-plaitain ).
