People say that the tradition is changing over time and I agree about that because the food is very different.
I'm Dominican so my grandparents eats Spanish foods, so they like to giver Spanish food, they always eat rice and beans with chicken, sometimes they eat Tostones or platains with cheese and with some salami. For breakfast they love to eat mangu, it's every bodies favorite Dominican food. There are many things like food tipico, It has to do with some fresh fruits and some foods, they eat salads, and some of the salads are originally from my Dominican Republic.
I'm different though I usally start my day of wit a bowl of cereal, or something with pancakes most of the times wit a nice healthy sandwich. Many of the times I eat mangu it's really healthy, once a month my family eats other country's food like tacos, we have a noght on the weekends when family members come over and we eat, like some rice with fish or something else.
I can understand why a lot of people state that food has changed over time. Many people change the way they eat wen they get to a new country, but that can happen with anyone. Lots of people travel and eat other peoples foods, and get on a habit of eating those type of foods.
In conclusion I like the way that I eat everything toe taste good, but most of the time I like to go to restrants and eat things that isn't usually cooked at my house.
