The Claim That Micheal Pollan Is Making Is That When You First Kill A Animal You Feel Confident And Good💪💪 But Then You Start To Feel Bad😩😴

Dr.caba

The claim that Micheal Pollan is trying to make is that although at the moment of killing an animal you may feel excited but when you actually killed it you start to feel bad about the animal. For example he did not want to take pictures with his own pig. Through this we see his claim that he is trying to point across.  Another example is that he say s he felt a little down that he killed the pig which made him not want to see the organs because they look like human organs. From this we see the claim that he is pointing out.

Dr. Diaz: What is Pollans Claim of pg.240 - 245?

The claim that Micheal Pollan  makes in pages 240 -245 is that when you kill the animals you have this kind of emotion of sadness. When Pollan killed the pig he felt really happy with excitement, but inside he felt sad. The text states," that was probably because the pigs internal organs looked exactly like human organs." This shows that Pollan feels sick to see the inside of the pig. Also the text states," I was overcome with strong mix of emotion's" This shows that Pollan has unknown feelings for the animals.
There are plenty of concequences of the industrial food chain. Concequences come from risk. Which there are plenty of aswell. Risks include; plenty of unhealthy ingredients within variety of foods. For example on page 3, Pollan discusses his encounter with a tv dinner and he elaborates on how there are about thirty+ ingredients within the meal itself and starts to list them. The ingredients were not all healthy. Sinc ewe know the risk lets talk about the concequences. What is the outcome of unhealthy food? An unhealthy body!

Michael pollan introduced steer number 534 because that was the first cow he purchased. Which was most likely most important to him  because that was how his experience started. He introduces this cattle by telling its story from when he first met the cow.
